MLK Day Dinner and Celebration
Brookhaven’s 10th annual MLK Day Dinner and Celebration returns Monday, Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. at Lynwood Recreation Center, the former site of the segregated Lynwood Schools whose students bravely integrated into the DeKalb School System in 1968. This meaningful evening honors the Lynwood Trailblazers and features keynote speaker Karyn Greer of WSB-TV Action News, along with dinner, giveaways, live performances, and special guests.
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at Lynwood Recreation Center (3360 Osborne Road) Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by calling 404-637-0542. Join the community to reflect, celebrate, and honor Dr. King’s legacy together.
