Brookhaven City Centre Art Mural Unveiling

Join us at the Brookhaven City Centre for the unveiling of a new community mural created by local artist Armando Chacón. This special event will celebrate art, culture, and community while giving attendees the opportunity to meet the artist and learn more about the inspiration behind the mural.
Armando Chacón is a Guatemalan-born American artist and muralist whose work blends surrealism, abstraction, and impressionism through an emotional and experiential lens. With more than 30 years of artistic practice, his paintings and public murals explore memory, movement, cultural identity, and human connection through expressive use of color, light, and gesture.
His work has been exhibited throughout the Southeast at institutions including the Governor’s Office at the Georgia State Capitol, the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, and the Alpharetta Arts Center, and featured in publications such as Voyage ATL and Studio Visit Magazine. Chacón is also an award-winning muralist whose public art projects emphasize community, transformation, and storytelling. Now based in Georgia, he continues to create work that honors heritage while embracing evolution — painting not only what is seen, but what is felt.
The event is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to register in advance.
